SUMMER SCHOOL "SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP" - ONLINE-EDITION
- SPRING
For the fourth time, the ImpactHub Ruhr (represented by the spatial planning graduate Benedikt Brester) organised the summer school "Social Entrepreneurship" for SPRING students - this year online, due to the COVID-19 situation.
Despite the new format, the feedback of the participants and the organizers was convincingly positive.
Speakers from the practice as well as from marketing and financing areas conveyed methods and practices of entrepreneurial thinking and acting. In the concluding short presentation ("Elevator-pitch") the students experienced how to summarize and present their business idea to investors.
This year, the team of the project "InstaMed" (a delivery service for pharmaceuticals by bicycle courier - orders are placed by smartphone - in dangerous situations such as COVID-19, endangered groups no longer have to leave the house) convinced the investors at the final presentation.
The DAAD supported the Summer School with an amount of 7.616 EUR.
