The Study and Project Center
The Study and Project Center (SPZ) in the Dean's Office is responsible for coordinating the study program, supervising students, and public relations for the Bachelor and Master degree programs in spatial planning. It supports students from the initial information before they begin their studies to their transition into professional life after they have completed their studies. Furthermore, the department supervises the approximately 30 study projects carried out annually at the department, which are carried out independently in small groups under scientific supervision and guidance (research-based learning).
Service Office
The Service Office supports the study projects in their work and offers all students of the Department individual services outside the project work (see below). These include, for example, the distribution of work materials and the loan of technical equipment such as projectors or reports. The service office is located in GB III on the 1st floor in room 3.207.
Opening hours during the lecture period and the 1st and 2nd week of the lecture-free period:
Monday: 12:00 to 14:00 hrs.
Tuesday: 12:00 till 14:00
Wednesday: closed
Thursday: 12.00 to 14.00 hrs
Friday: 12.00 to 14.00 hrs
From the 3rd week of the lecture-free period:
Wednesday: 12.00 to 14.00 hrs.
Especially for study projects:
- Issue of working materials
- Loan of workshop materials
For all students of the department:
- Loan of technical equipment
- Lending of workshop materials
For students and scientific staff of the department:
- Lending of booklets from the Yellow Series
- Loan of project reports
The office is run by student assistants.
