Rural Development - Locational factors, their impact and what can policy do about them - a systems approach.
One of our esteemed honorary professors, Prof. Dr. Christoph Kohlmeyer, gave a lecture within the intercultural offer for our SPRING students. The title was "Rural Development - Locational factors, their impact and what can policy do about them - a systems approach". He discussed what constitutes rural areas and what typical location factors are present. To this end, some selected examples are illustrated based on their ecological, economic and social properties, their effects and political influence.
In addition to the SPRING students, other students from the Department of Spatial Planning were also cordially invited.
