Internship of Fenesia at the UNESCO office in Jakarta

Fenesia, one of Carlo Schmidt Awardees from SPRING in 2017, finished her internship at UNESCO Office Jakarta in last March 2018. During her internship, one of her assignments was to develop a report on ‘Good Practices for Applying Eco-labelling in Asia and the Pacific Biosphere Reserves’ under Water and Environmental Science Unit (WES).
During her internship, she learned more about the UN system, participated in events and activities on international development, as well as met many international experts who were happily sharing their knowledge. She also took a role as part of traditional dancer team in UN Day Competition. As part of the celebration, she got a chance to visit textile museum and participate in batik workshop.
Through this valuable experience Fenesia could extend and strengthen her professional network within the context of international development.
