On the 10th of October the new SPRING Batch was welcome by Dr. Anne Weber, Managing Director at SPRING. In a two day orientation phase the 22 new students from 16 different countries got the chance to get to know each other and their lecturers.

Other representatives of important institutions of the university and the de­part­ment (e.g. the “Fachschaft”) also sent welcome notes to the new students. After the first day with welcome notes, introduction of the “Fachschaft Raumplanung” and presentation of the SPRING team, the students introduce themselves with small presentations on the second day.

This year the batch consist of students from Ecuador, Laos, El Salvador, Iran, Germany, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Venezuela, Eritrea, Kenya, Indonesia, Ghana, Philippines and China.
