Alumni Reunion 2026

All former and current students, staff members, and friends of the de­part­ment are invited to spend a day together dedicated to networking, urban development, and catching up.

• Kickoff at the Schauspielhaus
  We’ll meet at 1:00 p.m. in the foyer of the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus.
  After the welcome, we’ll set off on a guided tour of downtown Düsseldorf. Accompanied by local planners, participants will gain fascinating insights into the city’s development over the past years as well as current and future projects.
• Experiencing Urban Development Firsthand
  Key stops on the tour include the Dreischeibenhaus, the Düsseldorf Rhine Promenade, and the Kö-Bogen. Topics such as the transformation of inner-city spaces, new urban connections, and current challenges in urban planning will be discussed. Future developments—such as new cultural infrastructure, the redevelopment of existing buildings, and green urban spaces—will also be explored together.
• Exchange and Conclusion
  After a refreshment break with coffee and snacks, the program continues to other locations such as the Düsseldorf Media Harbor.

In the evening, we’ll wrap up the day with a group dinner at Brauhaus Fuchs im Hoffmanns in a relaxed atmosphere.
