Target Group
The Master’s program Urban Transformation is designed for students who are interested in urban transformation processes, particularly in a European context.
The program is suitable for two groups of applicants:
- International applicants who do not speak German and who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in urban and spatial planning or a related field. Related fields may include:
- human geography,
- regional science,
- urban studies,
- urban management,
- urban design,
- environmental sciences.
- Graduates of German-language Bachelor’s programs in urban and spatial planning or related fields. This includes graduates from universities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, for example from programs in:
- urban and spatial planning,
- urban geography,
- human geography.
The program is particularly relevant for students who want to understand how cities and regions change and how these transformation processes can be planned and managed.
Self-Assessment
The Master’s program Urban Transformation attracts students from all over the world. Applicants come from a wide range of academic backgrounds.
