Our student Gabriel Abedo shared his experiences and key takeaways from the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku!

During a lunch talk at TU Dortmund, he reflected on his time at WUF13 and shared his impressions with fellow SPRING students and several lecturers. The lunch talk created a space for exchange and discussion, offering insights into current projects and perspectives from the forum. While enjoying lunch together the attendees shared ideas and came to an exchange about the topics brought up by Gabriel, for example affordable housing, sustainable cities or community-led planning.

Attending events like this international event can be a powerful experience for emerging urban planners. Thanks for sharing these insights from WUF13 in Baku, it’s always valuable to see how students engage with global conversations around urban development and planning!
