On October 18, Honorary Professor Dr. Stefan Gärtner gave his inaugural lecture at the Department. The title of his lecture was "Ecological turn in regional structural policy from a spatial, temporal and sectoral perspective". After the lecture an interesting discussion between Mr. Gärtner and the professors of the department took place. The dean, Prof. Dr. Dietwald Gruehn, presented Mr. Gärtner with his certificate of appointment as honorary professor of the TU Dortmund University.
