The Deutschlandstipendium at TU Dortmund University

The Deutschlandstipendium supports high-achieving and talented students with a monthly grant of 300 euros – regardless of other income. The scholarship is paid for at least two semesters and at most until the end of the standard period of study.

How are scholarship holders selected?

  • Academic performance
  • Personal career background
  • Social commitment
  • Willingness to take responsibility
  • Special social, family or personal circumstances (for example students with an immigrant or refugee background)

Who can apply?

  • First-year students
  • Currently enrolled students (both Bachelor’s and Master’s; PhD students cannot apply)
  • Current scholarship holders

How does the application process work?

  • The application is made online via the application portal.
