International modules
On this website, you will find all important information about international modules at TU Dortmund. This includes internships, F-projects, bachelor’s and master’s theses, as well as offerings from Studium Fundamentale. Here you get an overview of the diverse opportunities to integrate international experiences into your studies.
Internships
Students have the opportunity to independently organize internships abroad, for example through international projects or other contacts within the department. As part of the bachelor’s program, an internship abroad can be recognized with credit points. There is also the possibility of financial support, for example through the Erasmus program. The contact person in the International Office is Laura Hope.
F-Project
Within the framework of the F-project, international projects are carried out in almost every academic year. The current F-projects can be viewed in the LSF system. An overview of past study projects can be found under the publications on study projects: Link.
Bachelor’s & Master’s Thesis
A stay abroad can also be a valuable opportunity within the scope of your thesis, for example to conduct interviews or carry out on-site research. TU Dortmund and the department support such self-organized stays abroad with various scholarship programs: Link.
Studium Fundamentale: Workshops & Excursions
The departments and institutions of the department regularly organize excursions in addition to study projects, which can also lead abroad. These excursions are often conducted in cooperation with partner universities and institutions on site. Students have the opportunity to have their participation in such excursions recognized as an examination achievement within Studium Fundamentale. Current information on excursions is regularly provided on the department website as well as via the department’s Instagram account.
