- SPRING
On 26 and 27 October 2020 13 new SPRING students from 3 different continents were welcomed at the TU Dortmund University. Most of them have already arrived in Germany and were able to attend the opening ceremony in presence at Campus South. The rest were added digitally so that everyone had the opportunity to participate and get to know each other.
On the first day the students were introduced to the TU Dortmund University, the Faculty of Spatial Planning and the SPRING programme. For this purpose the students were personally welcomed by:
- Prof. Dr. Tessa Flatten (Prorector International Relations)
- Prof. Dr. Dietwald Gruehn (Vice Dean of the Faculty of Spatial Planning)
- Prof. Dr. Sophie Schramm (Head of SPRING)
- Dr. Anne Weber (SPRING coordinator)
- Genevieve Selvo (former SPRING students)
- and the student council of the Faculty of Spatial Planning.
The second day served to enable the students to get to know each other better. The SPRING team wishes the new batch a good start into their studies and is looking forward to the coming year.
